Egon Veit passed away

Egon Veit was a faithful companion to ICAR for many years, during our annual conventions and in numerous other meetings. His experience in building rescue equipment of various kinds was very valuable. He was always attentive to the needs of the mountain rescuers and tried to incorporate them into the products.
His death is not only a great loss for his family but also for the international community of mountain rescuers.
